Service Description: Digital aerial photo mosaic covering Brown County Wisconsin created from scanned photos from year 1967. Laminated hard copy photos located in the Brown County Planning & Land Services (PALS) Department were scanned and digitally georeferenced using ArcGIS Pro in 2023 by PALS interns. Hard copy photo scale was 1:20,000. Scans were done at 600 dpi yielding a ground resolution of approximately 0.7 feet. To produce this digital dataset, individual 1967 photos were registered to common points on more recent orthophotos. This is not a true orthophoto; no DEM was used. Horizontal accuracy of the 1967 mosaic dataset varies but is generally less than 20 feet in most places.
