Description: Wetlands inventory from the US Fish & Wildlife Service. This differs in mapping methods and GIS data attributes from the Wisconsin DNR Wisconsin Wetlands Inventory (WWI). Generally the National Wetlands Inventory is not used for regulatory purposes in Brown County. The Oneida Nation and others do refer to the NWI and it is useful for reference purposes, so it is included in this geodatabase.
